About the translation...

Peter Kwok didn't provide to his students the names of the movements for this form.   I did have one teacher who found this form in book form in Chinese.  He had it translated.  I have a student obtain and provide to me all four Hua Chuan's in book form, in Chinese.  I found someone to translate this information for me.  Since none of my teachers had a reliable and consistent translation, I am using my translated material to document the form.

Hua Chuan 2 ~ Preface by  Cai Yunlong, 1958
Number Two series of  Hua Boxing

Preface
Number Two Series of Hua Boxing is a kind of skill which can be practiced singly or in pairs like number One Series.  Its content and structure are come from virtual attacking, so the character of it shows the method of attacking clearly.  There are sixteen arms movements, they are: punch, grapple, block, pat, push, support, buckle, impede, hook, swing, cut, nip, hack, pick, catch.

There are eight legs movements, they are: kick, spring, sweep, swing, hook, pedal, step, tread; in addition, there are a lot of catch methods which belongs to Chinese arresting techniques that need to be finished with wrist, arms, shoulders, neck, legs, etc are included.  They are: hold wrist, cut wrist, curl wrist, twist hands, twist arms, block shoulders, strangle throat, kneel down legs, press and catch as well as all kinds of wrestling techniques which belong to Chinese tumbling wrestling techniques, such as “lock legs and subdue bones” and “turn around the body and block legs.”

When we use these techniques in pairs, on the one hand, it shows the abundance of Chinese boxing principles; on the other hand, it increases the studying interest of us by its variety of changes; when we practice singly, these methods make arms and legs stretch and curl, loop and circle, sweep and swing, it increases the movement range of arms and legs.  For example, the technique “turn around the body and block legs,” when you practice in pairs, you need to touch the ground with both hands and block the opponent with legs, while you practice singly, you need to do some swing movements instead of touch the ground with both hands.  Here, it shows that the purpose of boxing is practice, the attacking methods must obey this purpose when they are practiced in pairs.

In spite of more attacking skills are used in Number Two Series of Hua Boxing, there are two jumping movements, “spring like an arrow” and “tornado kicking” and six falling and tumbling movements, such as “falling with cross legs,” “forward roll,” “backward roll,” “roll on the ground,” “fish dive roll ” and “fish dive stomach falling” (the last two movements will only appear in the practice in pairs).

All these movements except “tornado kicking” do not appear in Number One Series of Hua Boxing, they are workable for developing the quality of daring, sensitivity and clever of us.

Finally, what I must explain is that usually, the content and structure of martial art series make the attacking movement as the central point (of course there are a lot of exceptions), especially when they are practiced in pairs.  Although these movements are violently with a lot of body touching, but if the studying attitude of us is upright and the purpose of studying is just for physical exercise, injury and accident can be avoided.
