Umbrella Form

 San Quan ~ 傘拳  

The Umbrella Form is the only form in all of the systems of Kung Fu taught by Grandmaster Peter Kwok which he actually developed.   I was told that this form was part of his Grandmastership.  That using the knowledge he had to create a form of his own.  So, he decided that Umbrella would be the choice because it was a practical in America and todays society to have at all times but could be used as a weapon.  He took traditional movements from Shaolin and Tai Chi Weapons forms to create his own form.   You can see both styles in the form, plus you can see Broadsword, Double Edge Sword, Staff and Spear movements.
